Marketing Director

Job Scope
Main roles and responsibilities will include the following:

  • To develop and implement brand development and marketing strategies to achieve the overall objectives of the Institute.
  • To plan and execute branding campaign activities to create a strong brand image and profile of the Institute.
  • To organise activities to promote the CPA qualification and create better brand awareness in target markets.
  • To initiate sponsorship and co-branding programmes.
  • To undertake market analysis to keep track of market trend and competitor activities and identify new opportunities for brand building.
  • To organise public relations and Institute’s activities.
  • To undertake in the publication of the Institute’s journal and promotional materials.

Job Requirements

  • A recognised degree in marketing or related discipline.
  • At least 6 years’ related experience in marketing and branding, preferably from services industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and good command of the English language.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work independently.
  • Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Technical Director

Job Scope
Main roles and responsibilities will include the following:

  • To act as secretary to the technical committees of the Institute.
  • To undertake research in accounting, financial reporting, auditing and related areas.
  • To organise activities to promote the CPA qualification and create better brand awareness in target markets.
  • To liaise with the relevant Government agencies, regulatory authorities and other professional bodies pertaining to technical matters.
  • To assist in the development and conduct of the Institute’s CPD programme.
  • To assist in the editorial work of the Institute’s journal and newsletter.

Job Requirements

  • Recognised Degree in Accounting and professional qualification.
  • At least 6 years relevant working experience in similar capacity with auditing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good leadership and team player with a positive attitude and high integrity.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Event Manager

Job Scope
Main roles and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Organisation of the Institute’s events for member and students.
  • Researching markets to identify opportunities for events.
  • Maintaining effective media relations including organisation of news conferences and media monitoring.
  • Working in co-operation with the marketing department and membership services section in the publication of the Institute’s publicity and promotional materials.

Job Requirements

  • Recognised degree preferably in mass communication or related fields.
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in events management.
  • Good administration and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and good typing skills.
Assistant Manager, Education

Job Description
The candidate will assist the Project Manager of the Institute in managing the overall functions of the Education Department.

Job Scope
Main roles and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assist to develop and implement the Institute’s education curriculum.
  • Manage and administer student’s communications.
  • Co-ordinate and administer tuition classes, orientation and education related activities.
  • Conduct the academic assessment and University accreditation processes.
  • Assist in planning, implementation and monitoring of all education related projects; and
  • to undertake any other duties which may be assigned by the Manager or Executive Director

Job Requirements

  • A recognised Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience in education related areas.
  • A positive attitude and high integrity.
  • Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Membership Services Executive

Job Description
You will report to the Membership Services Manager of the Institute and will assist the Manager in the overall administrative matters relating to registration and provision of services to members of the Institute.

Job Scope
Main roles and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Processing applications for membership admission and attending to all enquiries pertaining to these matters.
  • Providing counselling services to the general public regarding the CPA training programme and qualification.
  • Maintaining the Institute’s membership database and generating month-end reports.
  • Co-ordinating the printing / distribution of circulars and other publications to members and students.
  • Supervision of the sale of publication and subscription service for the Institute’s journal and technical pronouncements
  • Assisting in planning and organising the members’ activities of the Institute; and
  • to undertake any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by the Executive Director

Job Requirements

  • Minimum a Diploma or advanced / higher education or equivalent.
  • Good administration and organisational skills with attention to details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge in pivot tables would be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • 1 – 2 years relevant working experience will be an added advantage.
Marketing Executive

Job Description
The candidate will assist the Marketing Manager in marketing and promotional activities to promote and create awareness on the Institute’s professional programmes.

Job Scope
Main roles and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Marketing Manager.
  • Assist with the organising of student events.
  • Assist with the development of promotional material.
  • Assist with executing marketing & promotional plans.

Job Requirements

  • A Diploma or advanced / higher education or equivalent.
  • A positive attitude and high integrity.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enjoys interacting with people.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Creative design skills and use of design applications like Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop is a plus.
  • Photography / videography skills / editing skills is an added bonus.
Part-time Lecturers

Specialisations

Job Scope
Main roles and responsibilities will include the following:

  • To teach the postgraduate courses offered by The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
  • Cover the syllabus outlined for the module and close the identified knowledge gaps of the students.
  • Provide feedback to the Institute with regard to the conduct of the tuition classes so as to further improve the conduct of the classes.
  • Develop the learning materials in compliance with the syllabus.
  • Participate in the development, administration and marking of examination papers.
  • Provide students regular guidance to assist the progress of their academic achievement.

Job Requirements

  • Recognised Degree in Accounting and professional qualification in the relevant areas of expertise or specialisation.
  • At least 3 years relevant teaching experience in similar capacity.
  • Candidate with industrial experience is preferred.
  • Good command of English.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong commitment and passionate in teaching working adults.
  • Willing to work weekends as the classes will be conducted on weekends.
