Becoming a CPA

Requirements for Admission as CPA

The following requirement must be satisfied in order to qualify as a CPA:

• A recognised degree in accountancy or other disciplines or a diploma in accountancy at the tertiary level;
• To pass the CPA examination within the prescribed period;
  
  and
• Having obtained not less than 3 years of practical experience under the supervision of a member of MICPA or of an approved professional body in public practice or in an approved training organisation (ATO).
