YOUNG CPA GROUP
Overview
The Young CPA Group was launched on 25 June, 2004 in conjunction with MICPA's 46th Annual Dinner. Registrations are open to all CPAs who are below 40 years of age.
The Young CPA Group is formed with the following objectives:
- To provide an avenue for young business professionals to develop and maintain professional and personal skills whilst maximising the benefits of the Institute's membership
- To establish a platform to enable younger members to engage in round-table discussions, tea-talks and other opportunities for interaction
- To organise social and professional development activities that cater to the needs of younger members
- To facilitate networking among members
As this is a group of younger members; many activities of interest to the younger generation have been planned. Among them are:
- To promote MICPA to new entrants
- To organise tea-talks on issues of interest to younger members
- Welcome reception for new members
- To participate in university visits and career talks/fairs
- Young CPA Symposium
- Charitable events
The Institute would like to encourage all members of the Young CPA Group to contribute more suggestions towards the activities so the groups can constantly meet and network.
Another benefit of joining the group is that there would be a bulletin board on the internet for members to discuss issues that may be of concern. Members would also constantly be updated on the news and events of the Institute through a Young CPA loop.
Thus, all CPAs out there who are eligible, we hope that you would register and keep this group active and benefit from all its activities.
Why wait?! Join us today!!!
