Student under Stream I and Stream II may apply for membership of the Institute upon successful completion of the Institute's examinations and the training contract.
Provisional members who have obtained three years of approved practical experience under the supervision of a member of the Institute may apply for advancement as a member of the Association.
A student who has successfully completed all of the examinations of the Institute and satisfied the practical experience requirements would be required to apply for admission as a member within 12 months from the date of satisfying the necessary requirements failing which he may be called upon by the Council to show cause why his student registration should not be revoked.
Any work experience of less than 12 months duration would not be recognised for purpose of admission to membership of the Institute.
