MICPA Programmes
The MICPA Programme caters to both Accounting diploma and degree holders and comprises two (2) levels of examinations – the Professional Stage Examination (PSE) and the Advanced Stage Examination (ASE).
Accounting diploma holders from accredited institutions can commence the Programme with the PSE before proceeding to the ASE.
The ASE is also known as the MICPA x CA ANZ Qualifying Programme. Upon completion of the ASE, graduates qualify for memberships with both MICPA and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) upon fulfilling membership admission requirements.
MICPA trained me to be an all-rounder and gave me the opportunity to apply my accounting knowledge hand-in-hand with real-life matters that I deal with at work. The modules helped me firm up my technical knowledge and placed me ahead of many others in my team.

I chose the MICPA Programme because of its globally recognised qualification and dual membership with both MICPA and CAANZ qualifications. The course structure which combines assignments, classroom participation and open book exams were desirable to me as it allowed me to showcase my skills and knowledge compared to a strictly exam-based qualification.
