Yayasan-Peneraju Sponsorship

Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (Yayasan Peneraju) in collaboration with MyPAC is offering a sponsorship for young and motivated Bumiputera who wish to embark on the highly-regarded MICPA-CAANZ professional accounting qualification after graduating from university.

MICPA and Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ) jointly offer the MICPA-CAANZ Programme which aims to develop professional accountants and provides its graduates with a dual qualification – Certified Public Accountant, Malaysia (CPA(M)) and Chartered Accountant, Australia and New Zealand (CA(ANZ)).  Graduates are also given access to the Global Accounting Alliance (GAA) – a group of 10 premier professional bodies worldwide via the GAA Passport.

1) SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME FOR FRESH GRADUATES

The sponsorship provides candidates with:

• Sponsorship of the MICPA Programme Fees
• 4 modules full time : 4 modules to complete in 2 terms (approx. 9 months)
• Final module – Capstone (ASE), 1 module part time (approx. 5 months)
• Nurture & Develop Programme (soft-skills development)
• Monthly allowance
• Facilitation of employment after completion of full-time study
• Tuition classes at Reputable Institutions

Eligibility Criteria

• Malaysian Bumiputera
• 25 years old & below
• Completed or will be completing a Degree in Accounting by MICPA or CAANZ before the intake commences with a:

i. Minimum of CGPA 3.0 (Local Universities)
ii. Minimum of CGPA 5.25 over 7 or CGPA 6.75 over 9 (Australia / New Zealand)
iii. 2nd class Upper: Division 1 (United Kingdom)
iv. WAM of 75% (Australia)
v. Average Marks of 75% (New Zealand)

2) SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME FOR WORKING/NON-WORKING ADULTS (SPEED)

Eligibility Criteria

• Bumiputera
• Up to 45 years old
• Compulsory minimum of 3 years previous working experiences (certain certification requires relevant working experiences subject to requirement set by MICPA)
• Open to all eligible fresh and existing (in progress) candidates
• Funding Mode: Reimbursement to scholars
• Funding Scheme:

I. One-time assistance RM 1500
II. 50% Tuition fee
III. 100% Professional Fee

3) SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME FOR POSTGRADUATES (PUSH)

Eligibility Criteria

• Bumiputera;
• Aged between 21 to 28 years old;
• Graduated with a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
• Full time / Part time students enrolled into approved institutions
• Graduated less than 3 years and with less than 3 years working experience;
• Currently enrolled in the MICPA Programme on a full-time or part time basis at Taylors/Sunway TES/KDU PAC
• Minimum of 3 papers (FT) / 2 papers (PT) to complete and must not failed more than 1 time per paper
• Funding Mode: Disbursement to Tuition & Service Providers
• Funding Scheme:

I. Tuition fee RM2,500/paper
II. 100% Professional Fees

• Final module – Capstone (ASE), 1 module part time (approx. 5 months)
• Tuition classes at Sunway TES

Eligibility Criteria

• Malaysian
• 25 years old & below
• Completed or will be completing a Degree in Accounting by MICPA or CAANZ before the intake commences with a:

I. Minimum CGPA 3.33 (Public Universities)
II. Minimum CGPA 3.50 (Private Universities)
III. Minimum CGPA 5 out of 7 or CGPA 5 out of 9 (Australia / New Zealand)
